Waking up early, commuting to work, speaking to customers all day, and coming home too drained to do anything that actually made me feel alive.

I worked as a Telecom Engineer for years. On paper, it was a “good job.” But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was meant for so much more than just trading my time for a paycheck…

And when the thoughts came about doing this for another 30–40 years? I had to just accept it because I didn't see another way for me.

The truth is, I was also doing what I thought I was supposed to do.

Work hard, save for a mortgage + wedding, take a holidays once a year, eventually start a family and hopefully retire around 60.

All seemed like an impossible task on a £30k Salary, I'd literally be working to the day I die.

During the pandemic I looked at the lives of my colleagues (15-20 years older then me), the ones who’d followed that script. And honestly? Most didn’t seem happy. They weren’t free. They were always working overtime so they'd have that little bit extra.

That hit me hard. Because I realised if I didn’t make a change now… that would be my future too.

So I made a decision no one around me really understood.
I chose to invest in myself, build something meaningful and purposeful with this business model.

The plan: I put the future I wanted on pause to create an additional income source where I'm not trading time for money.
